Introduction
SIDA SEEDS Limited started in 2016 as a seed company whose main aim then was only limited to selling seeds and seedling to farmers. However, there was increased concerns of farmers for need to be trained in usage of these seeds and eventually a lot of concerns regarding supporting them access markets for output. In 2018, the company increased her mandate and services to include capacity building of farmers and buying off their produce.
SIDA SEEDS Limited is thus an Integrated Agribusiness Company whose mission is beyond just selling seeds. SIDA Seeds name comes from SIDA which to us standard for Sustainable Inputs for Agribusiness Development deals in provision of;
– Quality Agribusiness Inputs Supplies,
– Farmer Extension and Advisory Services,
– Market Linkage and Off taking.
We collaborate and partner with farming communities, farmer association, development partners, private entities, public sector, Non-Governmental Organizations, among others to enhance the production and productivity of farmers from quality input access to consumption
